Service tool

The USBUP-EUR-V2 is a service tool that can be used by technicians to flash upgrade the ZeroWire and xGen panel as well as most xGen expander modules to the latest firmware, voice, menu strings, and web pages in case a firmware update is available.
The USBUP-EUR-V2 has an USB connector and comes with a special cable that allows to connect the service tool to every device that has the USB flash port. Firmware files can be copied from a pc and stored onto the USBUP-EUR-V2. Once the service tool is plugged in to the device and the program button is pressed, the service tool will automatically search its folders for MIF3 files that are suitable for the connected device and will attempt to perform an upgrade. A log file will be created and stored on the USBUP-EUR-V2 after every upgrade. This log file lists all files sent to the device to verify the upgrade was done successfully.

From the DLX900 configuration software, a panel site configuration can be exported and stored on the USBUP-EUR-V2. This allows to copy or restore a site configuration by simply plugging the service tool on the device and press the program button.
